Human Knot

Grouping of Students: 8-16 students

Materials Needed: Students

Directions:

  1. A group of 8-16 students stand in a small circle facing each other.
  2. Everyone sticks their hands into the center of the circle and randomly grabs someone else's hand with each of their own hands.
  3. The objective of the game is to untangle this "human knot" without anyone letting go of any of the hands, in hopes of ending up with one large circle.
  4. The participants have to step over or under each others’ “tied” arms, with close physical contact and silly movements without “untying the knot” between fellow students.
