Pairs Check 

Grouping of Students: two students per group, if there is an odd number of students a group of three can be formed.

Materials:  Worksheet, or problems to work on.

Directions:

            1.  Students are divided into groups and given problems to work on

            2.  Students work together, praising one another, and coaching one another, to complete the problems

            3.  After two problems are completed, each pair checks with another pair to see if they have similar answers

            4.  Students then get back into original group, make changes if needed, and complete two more problems

            5.  Repeat steps 2 through 4 until all problems are completed
