Grouping of Students:  Students are put into groups of 4

Materials Needed:

• Task Cards

Directions:

1. Place students in groups of 4 
2. Each group then sends 2 members to one side of the classroom and the other 2 to the opposite side
3. Each set of partners is then given a task to master; they take a few moments and decide on strategy and make sure they understand the task
4. When the task is mastered, they cross the room and begin to teach their remaining teammates
5. After some time has elapsed, have the teams discuss how the mastering and teaching process went and what worked and what they could do better.
